JIS G7105 C45 Introduce

Steel is an essential component of modern industrial and commercial infrastructure, ranging from bridges and buildings to industrial equipment and consumer products. JIS G7105 C45 is one such steel, popular for its high strength, wear and corrosion resistance and good formability. Most JIS G7105 grades have a very high carbon content (0.70 – 0.80%), and a chromium content of 0.30 – 0.90%. This helps the steel to maintain its ductility at elevated temperatures, as well as maintain strength and hardness during heat treatments. Another very important element is nickel. It has a high level of resistance to corrosion and assists in making the steel resistant to heat treatments, an important feature in many manufacturing processes.

Smelting temperature:1211°C - 1878°C

Application:Heat-treated steel, alloy steel, free-cutting steel - Part 18: Bright alloy steel and low alloy steel
