EN 10084 18CrNiMo7-6 Introduce

EN 10084 18CrNiMo7-6 steel can be heat treated to achieve desired properties. Generally, it is heat treated at temperatures ranging from 750-950°C for 1-2 hours. This process is known as normalizing and it is usually followed by a tempering operation. During the tempering process, the steel is cooled slowly to remove retained austenite and also to increase the toughness of the steel.

Smelting temperature:1894°C - 1738°C

Application:Case hardening steels - Technical delivery conditions
