SAE J1268 4150H Introduce

SAE J1268 4150H Steel is a high-strength, medium-carbon, low-alloy steel that is often used for general and structural engineering applications. The low-alloy composition of the steel allows for a high strength-to-weight ratio and the medium-carbon content provides good strength at elevated temperatures. This steel is also resistant to corrosion and is frequently used in applications where weathering or corrosion is an issue.
SAE J1268 4150H steel is available in sheet, plate, and bar forms, with a range of thicknesses. This steel can also be cold-drawn or hot-formed to achieve the desired shape and size. It is also machinable and can be cut, punched, and drilled easily. The steel is also highly weldable and can be arc-welded with a variety of electrodes.

Smelting temperature:1561°C - 1558°C

Application:Hardenability bands for carbon and alloy H steels
