EN 10028-7 X6CrNi18-10 Introduce
EN 10028-7 X6CrNi18-10 is made in a range of grades and specifications, dependent on the application and manufacture that it will be used for. The three grades are P235, P355 and P460. The 'P' stands for pressure and specifies the minimum yield strength of the steel, for example P235 is for steel of minimum yield strength 235MPa, P355 for 355MPa and so on. Other properties such as chemical composition and mechanical properties are defined in the standard.
Smelting temperature:1546°C - 1529°C
Application:Flat products made of steels for pressure purposes - part 7: stainless steels
