GB/T9711 has five grade groups and each grade group has several levels. Grade A to Grade D are the commonly used types and Grade E is the special type. High-Strength Steel Delivery Conditions: Hot-Rolled Plates, Cold-Rolled Sheets, Cold-Formed and Cold-Rolled Sections:Grade A - General-Purpose, low-temperature and higher temperature strengthened steels, corresponding to Q235A, Q235B, Q275A, Q275B
Grade B - Q345A, Q345B, Q390A and Q390B, corresponding to 16Mn, 18Mn, 20MnV and 27MnCr
Grade C - Q420A, Q420B, Q420C and Q420D, corresponding to 17Mn4, 19Mn5, 15MnV, 13MnNiCrMo
Grade D - Q460A, Q460B, Q460C and Q460D, corresponding to 14MnNb, 16MnRE, 18MnCbV
Grade E - Rare Types
EO, NACE, MRO-175, HIC, SSCC and Sour Service are considered as special requirements, so they are listed as grade E. This grade also includes J55, L80, N80, T95, and P110.
