JIS G7401 41Cr4E Introduce

JIS G7401 41Cr4E steel, also known as "Japanese Industrial Standard" steel, is a medium-carbon alloy steel that was developed for use in industrial machinery. It is composed primarily of iron, with a small quantity of manganese, chromium, and carbon. It is usually available in both hot-rolled and cold-rolled forms. JIS G7401 41Cr4E steel is composed primarily of iron with small alloying elements including manganese (0.5-1.5%), chromium (0.2-0.6%), and carbon (0.2-0.4%). The ingredients work together to strengthen the steel, providing significant corrosion and wear resistance. The presence of manganese enhances the tensile strength of the steel while the chromium increases corrosion resistance. Carbon imparts further strength and hardness to the steel.

Smelting temperature:1694°C - 1395°C

Application:Cold heading and cold extrusion steel
