ASTM A314 Grade S41400 Introduce

ASTM A314 Grade S41400 steel is a type of stainless steel that has been developed to provide superior corrosion resistance and strength. The chromium content of this steel provides good corrosion resistance in mild atmospheres, high-temperature service, and overall good oxidation resistance even in highly corrosive environments. The nickel and molybdenum content contribute greatly to the corrosion-resistance of this steel, as well as its ability to retain mechanical properties even after long periods of exposure. The manganese content provides additional strength and hardness. This steel also has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and has excellent weldability. This steel can be cold worked and has excellent formability, strength, and wear resistance.

Smelting temperature:1278°C - 1849°C

Application:Specification for stainless steel and steel rods for forging and heat
