ASTM A314 Grade S32205 Introduce

ASTM A314 Grade S32205 is a type of stainless steel that is commonly used for making piping systems, tubes, and plates for use in liquid service applications. It is an austenitic stainless steel grade which provides good welding properties and is easilycorroded and formed. Additionally, the grade is also resistant to oxidation and scaling, as well as possessing good strength and hardness properties. ASTM A314 Grade S32205 is a non-magnetic steel that can be heat treated for better formability and strength. It may also be cold worked, annealed, and polished to achieve a desired workability. The grade is also readily machinable and can be cut, drilled, and stamped easily. It can also be arc welded with a suitable filler material for applications that require high strength and toughness.

Smelting temperature:1768°C - 1936°C

Application:Specification for stainless steel and steel rods for forging and heat
