EN 10025 S235JRG2 Introduce
EN 10025 is the latest European Regulation for the introduction of the steel standard. It was first developed in 1993 and immediately replaced all existing national standards in the United Kingdom and other European countries, covering the materials and design of structural steel used in the vast majority of construction works throughout Europe.
Smelting temperature:1425°C - 1186°C
Application:Technical conditions for the delivery of non-alloy structural steel hot rolled products

EN 10025 S235JRG2 Material Mechanical Properties
The steel products must also meet certain performance requirements to be in compliance with the EN 10025 S235JRG2. These are usually tested by a destructive testing, such as hardness, flexural strength, and corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties are retrieved by placing a specimen under tension, while corrosion resistance is tested by both destructive and non-destructive methods.
The mechanical properties of the EN 10025 S235JRG2 steel are as follows:
YieldRp0.2 | ≤ 764 (MPa) |
TeileRm | ≤ 941 (MPa) |
