ASME SA-213/SA-213M Grade T92 Introduce
ASME SA-213/SA-213M Grade T92 is composed mostly of a combination of iron and chromium. This combination provides a material that is strong and resistant to corrosion. The alloy also contains other smaller amounts of elements like manganese, silicon and molybdenum. These elements add additional strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance to the material.
Smelting temperature:1243°C - 1813°C
Application:Seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel tubes for boilers, superheaters and heat exchangers

ASME SA-213/SA-213M Grade T92 Material Mechanical Properties
In order to achieve the desired mechanical properties of ASME SA-213/SA-213M Grade T92 steel, it must undergo several thermal treatments. These treatments often encompass both an annealing process and a tempering process. The annealing process removes stresses that have built up during the hot-working process, The tempering process then increases the mechanical strength of the steel by increasing the amount of energy that the material can absorb before fracturing.
The mechanical properties of the ASME SA-213/SA-213M Grade T92 steel are as follows:
YieldRp0.2 | ≤ 985 (MPa) |
TeileRm | ≤ 676 (MPa) |
ImpactKV/Ku | 24(J) |

ASME SA-213/SA-213M Grade T92 Material Machining Technology
Weldability is an important property of engineering and construction materials, as it determines how easy it is to join two pieces of the material together by welding. ASME SA-213/SA-213M Grade T92 steel is highly weldable due to its low carbon content. This low carbon content makes it easier to achieve good weld quality, and it also reduces the chances of 'hot cracking' – a type of welding defect. Grade T-14 steels have particularly good weldability, while grade T-12 steels have slightly poorer weldability.
