ASME SA-249/SA-249M TP201 Introduce
ASME SA-249/SA-249M is a standardized steel alloy designed for use in industrial processes and structures. This type of steel is widely used in the oil and gas industry, petrochemical production, engineering, and other industrial applications. It is known for its reliable performance, good welding properties and outstanding corrosion resistance. Its tensile strengths range from 65.8 MPa (min) to 88.9 MPa (max), while its yield strength is 45.1 MPa (min) and 59.5 MPa (max). This alloy also has excellent fatigue strength, making it a preferred choice for structures subject to repeated loading.
Smelting temperature:1879°C - 1391°C
Application:Welded austenitic steel tubes for boilers, superheaters, heat exchangers and condensers
