JIS G4303 SUS 316 Introduce
JIS G4303 SUS 316 is mainly composed of chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni). It is characterized by high hardness and strength, good corrosion resistance, and excellent wear resistance. It can be hardened by heat treatment, and it is highly resistant to scaling at elevated temperatures. JIS G4303 SUS 316 is mainly used for making valves, shafts, piston rods, and other components that are exposed to corrosive environments. It is also commonly used for medical instruments and other applications that require high wear resistance.
