JIS G3115 SPV315 Introduce
JIS G3115 is a Japanese steel standard for hot-rolled steel plate and sheet. It defines the specifications and application of intense pressure vessel steel plates and sheets mainly used in applications such as pressure vessels, steel bridge components and other general structural applications. Aside from being the base material for pressure vessels such as those found in chemical and petrochemical plant, JIS G3115 SPV315 can also be used for items in engineering structures and components for industries like energy, ships, transportation tools, and construction machinery.

JIS G3115 steel plate is composed of three grades, SPV235, SPV315, and SPV355, which are intended for welded pressure vessel fabrication. JIS G3115 SPV315 steels have superior weldability and good cold formability properties.
