ASTM A1031/A1031M Grade 8620 Introduce

ASTM A1031/A1031M Grade 8620 is a specification for Structural Steel with Improved Toughness, commonly known as "Tough Steel". It is a high strength steel that has good ductility and toughness characteristics. Its chemical composition consists of a small amount of carbon, larger amounts of manganese and chromium, and other trace elements such as phosphorus and sulfur. The steel is primarily used in applications where high strength and good ductility are required, such as bridge girders, crane booms and truck frames.

Smelting temperature:1662°C - 1139°C

Application:Hot rolled heavy-duty tin coil drawing and structural alloy steel sheet and strip specifications
